Using Zahen in chat

If your organisation connects a chat tool, Zahen can reach you where you already work — so you don’t have to keep the web app open to stay on top of your requests.

What’s available

• Slack — get notified by direct message, start an assistant with a slash command, and approve or reject a paused task right from the message. See Slack.
• Microsoft Teams — get notifications posted to a team channel. See Microsoft Teams.

The same rules apply

Chat is just another way in — it doesn’t change the platform’s guarantees. Whatever you do from Slack or Teams runs as you, with your usual permissions: you can only start assistants and see results you’re allowed to, and the no-self-approval rule still holds. Nothing sensitive happens without the same human approval it would need in the web app.

These integrations are set up by your administrator. If you don’t see Zahen in your Slack or Teams, it hasn’t been connected for your organisation yet.
