The approvals queue
The Approvals queue is the single place where all approval requests come together. Every request — from any task, any department you have access to — appears here.
Opening the queue
Section titled “Opening the queue”Select Approvals in the sidebar. The queue loads with the most recent requests at the top.
What each request shows
Section titled “What each request shows”Each row in the queue displays:
- The task name and the type of action proposed.
- The current status of the request.
- How long the request has been waiting.
Select a row to open the full request detail and act on it.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for a decision. The task is paused. |
| Info requested | An approver sent it back for clarification. The task is still paused. |
| Escalated | An approver passed it to another person or authority. |
| Approved | The action was approved; the task has resumed. |
| Edited and approved | Approved with changes; the task resumed using the edited version. |
| Rejected | The action was blocked; the task stopped. |
History
Section titled “History”Decided requests stay in the queue — they move out of the pending view but remain in the history. Use the status filter to switch between Pending and All to find past requests.
Every decision in the history is backed by a permanent entry in the Audit log.
Staying on top of requests
Section titled “Staying on top of requests”You can receive a notification when a new request arrives in your queue. See Notifications to set that up.
