Notifications

Zahen lets you know when something needs you — so you don’t have to keep checking back on a running task.

The notifications bell

Every screen has a bell in the top bar, with a badge showing how many unread notifications you have. It appears in both Employee mode and the operator console.

You’re notified when:

• a request or task you started finishes (done or couldn’t complete), and
• a task is waiting for your approval (if you’re an approver).

Open the bell to see your recent notifications. Selecting one marks it read and takes you straight to the request or task it’s about.

In chat, too

If your organisation has connected Slack or Microsoft Teams, you can also get these notifications where you already work. See Using Zahen in chat.

Note

Notifications are a convenience, not the system of record. If one doesn’t arrive, your request and its current status are always there under My requests (or the tasks list) and on the bell.
